Our organization was founded by Sue Snyder and Marilyn Davidson.

First known as the Bergen County Orff Schulwerk Association, the earliest record of a meeting is dated September, 1975.

We were chartered by the American Orff-Schulwerk Association as the Northern New Jersey AOSA, Chapter #49 on November 11, 1977.

The Northern New Jersey Orff Schulwerk Association is a registered provider with the NJ state education department. Our provider number is 1196. Teachers may use these workshops toward their 100-hour requirement. Certificates are available at the end of each workshop.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Workshops are from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Regular and Student/Retired membership includes all six workshops, one free
guest pass, all emailings and access to our members only page. Registration is from
8:30 am to 9:00 am and workshops are from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
